DEECA’s decision to proceed with a covert aerial cull of koalas—described as a ‘humane’ method—raises serious ethical and transparency concerns. This was all intended to be hidden from the public eye.

Our petition urgently calls for:

1. An urgent inquiry into DEECA’s aerial culling and management practices with full transparency.

2. An immediate halt to further harvesting of blue gum plantations in Victoria until after an investigation

3. An investigation into the blue gum industry’s impact on koala populations.
